Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services, automation, and best practices for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on GCP.

  • Optimize resource utilization and manage cost efficiency.

  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.

  • Automate application deployment processes and workflows.

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.

  • Automate operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using GCP tools such as Stackdriver or third-party tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Ensure logging standards and best practices are followed for effective troubleshooting.

  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.

  • Conduct periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments.

  • Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience with GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Functions.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, and load balancing.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

  • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

  • Google Associate or Professional Cloud Architect.

  • Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or other relevant certifications.
