Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in
architecting and managing API gateway solutions on the AWS platform. In this role, you will play a
key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our API gateway infrastructure to enable
seamless communication between diverse systems, services, and applications.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of API gateway solutions on the AWS platform,
leveraging services such as API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API specifications, design interfaces, and
implement best practices for API lifecycle management, including versioning, documentation,
security, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS
CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of API gateway resources.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy to
automate the deployment of API gateway configurations and updates.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability,
availability, and performance of the API gateway infrastructure, leveraging AWS CloudWatch,
CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams on best practices for designing and
implementing APIs, integrating with the API gateway, and leveraging AWS services effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in AWS, DevOps, and API
management to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our API gateway solutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-9 years of professional experience in DevOps or software engineering roles, with a focus on AWS
cloud technologies.
- Extensive experience designing, building, and deploying API gateway solutions on the AWS
platform, including hands-on experience with API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar
tools.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and
CodeDeploy.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API design principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for
delivering high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,
agile environment.
